Overview

Gatifloxacin 4 mg/ml Infusion is a sterile, preservative-free intravenous formulation used for the treatment of bacterial infections. It is prepared as an aqueous solution with a pH range of 3.5 to 5.5, ensuring stability and safety during administration.

The solution may appear light yellow to greenish-yellow, which does not affect product stability or effectiveness.

Composition

Each infusion contains:

• Gatifloxacin 4 mg/ml

• Dextrose, USP (anhydrous or monohydrate)

• Water for Injection, USP

• May also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment
